I designed a series of infographics for the California Department of Food and Agriculture, translating detailed animal-disease response information into clear, approachable visual communications. The challenge was to organize complex procedures for responders and stakeholders while keeping each topic easy to navigate within a cohesive series.
I used structured layouts, color-coded sections, illustration, and clear typography to explain topics including biosecurity, surveillance, quarantine, vaccination, and incident management. Each infographic balanced technical detail with visual cues that guided readers through key concepts and related actions. The resulting system gave the department a consistent way to present response information across print and digital materials, making the content easier to scan, understand, and reference.
